There's a good two feet of snow outside. Ava loves playing in it, Violet takes one step, falls, and starts crying.
This picture is particularly funny because for the past couple weeks Tyler has been saying, "That house obviously has a gutter problem," when he sees houses with giant icicles. Well, then he found this monster outside. Does this mean we have a gutter problem? :)

Another one ...
Tyler also found out this week he got into BYU! Horray! Now we have to make a decision. On another note it has been FREEZING here. Local schools were cancelled because of the cold. How awesome. Good thing Ava and Violet slept over at grandma and grandpa's last night and Audrey is home to hang with the kids!

Breaking News
Tyler got admitted to U of M for his MBA, class of 2011! We are so excited, and I am so proud of him. U of M is ranked #5 in the country by Business Week, http://www.businessweek.com/bschools/rankings/ Their entrepreneurial programs are really great too.
This is a crazy world, and a crazy life. I noticed an extremely bright full moon last night and knew something would happen today.
We just submitted the UCLA app last week. We are still waiting to hear from BYU after his interview, and haven't heard anything from Stanford or UC Berkeley. But knowing U of M is a sure-thing makes us very excited and ready to move on to the next step of life.

Holiday Happenings
Christmas Morning ..
Looking at fish at Petsmart. That was the bribe to get them to be good while standing in line at Borders while Christmas shopping.
Sooo our Christmas holiday was marred by the breaking of our camera. You'll have to live with my less than great blackberry photos or until we get one of our old cameras up and working again. Here's what the past few weeks have entailed for us:
-Christmas eve celebration at friends' from the ward. We made gingerbread houses out of graham crackers, had a nativity (the girls were the angels), sang a couple songs and had dinner. it was fun.
-Christmas eve night we didn't stay up too late getting everything ready, but there were still some last minute touches that had to be done. Santa made the girls' a baby doll crib. It probably cost double what the one at Pottery Barn Kids cost, but I think Santa had fun using all his tools.
-Christmas morning the girls were really excited when they saw the presents. To my surprise they didn't open any gifts prior to it being Christmas. I figured they would want to rip the paper off right away when they saw presents under the tree. They're growing up so fast I guess I should get used to surprises like this.
-Presents included: toddler beds from ikea, a ballerina dress-up dress, markers, battery powered toothbrushes (Violet's afraid of hers) and lots of hair bands.
-Christmas night we went to my Grandma Culver's house and had fun with my grandma, dad, Bryce and Stephanie. The girls got a wood highchair, alphabet blocks, some clothes and a music table.
-The Saturday after Christmas my mom and step dad came into town and stayed with us for a few days. I made a Christmas dinner with the turkey we got free from Tyler's work. It was my first time making a turkey and I was really nervous, but it turned out GREAT! All the basting and in and out of the oven gave me a couple burns. Overall it was really fun, and a huge thank you goes out to Oprah for her recipe.
New Years we spent over at friends house and then Tyler's family finally rolled back into town after being gone for two weeks to UT. We just had Christmas with them. I missed Tyler's sister Audrey babysitting and having the Paxtons here.
Ava when going to bed with the couple beehive girls we had come babysit said "I have to go potty" and then didn't come back downstairs. She just went to bed on her own. Crazy!
Bedtimes have been especially crazy because the girls are in the same room now. Their naps are on and off and they play and play bumping, screaming, laughing and crying. But it's SO cute to see them sleep either in the same bed or in their own beds in their room. We're semi-preparing to have a two bedroom place for school since we don't know where we'll be or how much housing is going to cost.
That's it for now... more soon!
