Violet's first trip to the dentist

Get ready for the cutest picture ever......

Wait for it....

Wait for it....

Bam! Here it is.

She did great!! She is such a big girl. AND no cavities! Thankfully Grandma Michelle came to help watch North so Ava, Violet and I could all get our teeth clean. Ava only had one cavity, which I consider a completely successful dentist appt. for her. Poor thing has inherited terrible teeth genes. Looks like Violet won in that department.

Michigan Marching Band

Last Friday I took the girls to watch the marching band practice. It was before the big UM vs. MSU rivalry game (which we didn't go to), but it was especially fun. I've never been big into bands, but it was really cool. They played fun songs, and the girls danced for a bit.
Oh, daddy, how nice of you to show up!

A Jenny Wiebe look-alike with her blond short hair and ergo..

The kiddies.

Cooking adventures

This morning we made honey butter from the leftover heavy whipping cream we had from Conference. SOOOO fun!! I have made whipped cream, but never left it in the mixer long enough to turn to butter. I think I might be addicted...

The buttermilk left over..

The butter!

Violet and North bonding.

A terrible picture, but our Conference tradition of making homemade tortellini continues!

First day of dance - 2010

It seems like yesterday I was hauling Ava off to her first dance class, reading to Violet in the hallways and feeling extremely nauseous from little North. Now Ava and Violet have dance once a week. Their classes are back to back. I feel like an "older" parent now, waiting for my kids and their lessons :) Here are my little ballerinas!
