We did so much last week it's hard to keep track of. First: a wedding in Chicago. We took a bus. Not sure if we'll do it again but it sure was cheap.
This photo pretty accurately describes the experience:
Chicago really was awesome. So pretty and really clean.
Mind you, Chicago in the summer really is great. It's the whole winter thing there that is truly awful. (Worse in my opinion than where we are if you can believe that)
Tyler and I did yoga in Millenium park. It was hot but really fun. The woman leading it could chant, which was neat.
And then the wedding! Tyler's friend from U of M was getting married. It was really neat. Her dress was gorgeous. Strapless with a little sheer beaded shrug.

It was a fabulous night. We danced till midnight. My feet hurt for days afterward. I guess that is a sign you had a good time!

I love Chicago too all year around. I visited Cindy numerous times when she lived there briefly and we walked all over together (even in the winter). We lived for one year in north west IN and visited Chicago a lot then too and it's so pretty at Christmas time with the displays and hustle and bustle. So sad to hear you say you hate it then as it's cold, but quite pretty then too. Until the snow gets all dirty and then no place looks pretty then. :)
Sarah, I totally agree. Chicago in the winter is horrible. I lived there Nov '06 - May '07 and it was cold, windy and grey. Glad you enjoyed the park; it looks like you had a beautiful time!
